The purpose of social media is not… is NOT… necessarily to make people happy. The purpose of social media is to close sales. Let’s face it. We’re in social media as a business.
I don’t think social media should be measured as “How many people did we not piss off.”
It is about how many phones did we sell. How many cameras did we sell. How many people signed up for our website.
That’s what truly counts.
